My phone was damaged. I filed a claim. I paid my $250 deductible. My replacement phone arrived in a few days time during the busy Christmas vacation flavor. I transferred my phone data via a USB-C to USB-C cable. The new telephone worked great. I factory reset my onetime damaged phone. I sealed the sometime damaged phone in their prepaid envelope with an USPS tracking number already assigned and dropped the envelope into the outgoing post at the Us Post Office. I entered the USPS tracking number onto the USPS Website to track it and signed upwards to exist notified of the final delivery. Asurion emailed me they received the old damaged phone. The new phone besides came with instructions for several unlike options to transfer your phone data and contact data for an Asurion technician to talk you through the procedures step past step. My phone was lost/stolen on Fri, December. 31 mid-day. I chosen immediately, had my phone suspended and blocked the number. I went to ATT and had the replacement 1 ready for delivery. I didn't receive my replacement until Tuesday, Jan. four. I was told they ordinarily overnight them and I should accept had it within a day or 2.
It took four days considering of the holiday. I get the holidays but if that was example I wish the person never told me they usually come in ane-2 days! Because that was my expectation and you guys definitely failed that 1. Information technology would exist nice if you had a plan in place for situations like these with holidays. I'm a healthcare worker and don't take the luxury of having holidays off. Otherwise it was a great experience, minus the look time, waiting for the new 1 to come up.

This was my beginning experience losing a cell telephone. Both the wonderful employees at the AT&T store I rushed to, and Asurion, which they directed me to use to replace my phone, as it turned out I had opted to insure my phone (whew), fabricated the feel painless. Following Asurion's clear instructions on their website, I ordered the replacement phone in a handful of minutes. The site provided tracking updates while it was in transit and my phone and new sim carte arrived in 2 days, as Asurion'south site had initially stated. Asurion also sent automated emails ahead of the phone's delivery, including step by pace instructions on how to actuate it (with diagrams). Honestly, though, I took my phone back to my fabled AT&T store and then they could practise for me. I hope I will never need Asurion over again but their process provided great peace of mind. A++++.

My feel having a representative come to my firm and replace my screen was excellent! Excellent in every way. All the same; when I first brought my phone into the store location in Newnan; Georgia for repair I was non overall happy. The gentleman that helped me was respectful and professional. But he insisted I give him my passcode and my phone for a 2 hour time frame. He insisted he could not supplant my screen unless I did. If that's the case why did the amanuensis that came to my home not tell me to unlock my phone but asked me to turn it off?
I can't imagine why anyone would unlock a phone and paw it over to anyone; a total stranger, for ii hours? Why? How is my info protected? It would be similar unlocking my phone and leaving it at Macdonald's for 2 hours. Who would do this? Not me! If the amanuensis could replace the screen with information technology turned OFF- they need to be able to exercise the same at the repair store location. This DID NOT make me feel comfy in any way. The personal info on someone'south phone doesn't need to be open up for access by anyone - especially a total stranger. This policy needs to exist changed.

Overall, the experience was skilful. IT was improved tremendously by the ATT Protech Support person, Veronica at the Chinatown, DC store location. The office of the phone replacement procedure which was most challenging/frustrating was having to speak with multiple people betwixt ATT and Asurion. IT would be ameliorate if employees of both were all on the same page virtually the protocols. I spent at least 4 hours on the phone on Wed four/28 morning and nevertheless didn't have everything sorted out. Then the twenty-four hour period my phone was supposed to go far as an Asurion same-day delivery, it didn't. I wasn't notified via email and actually sat outside for ii hours hoping it would arrive. This is an unfortunate part about not having a working phone. Information technology wasn't until I chosen the side by side morning time that I was told there was an consequence with the drop off. At this point, I hadn't had a working telephone in nearly ane week. Veronica fabricated my day with her infrequent service and expertise.

The offset telephone that was sent was defective. I had to transport it back. Then the 2nd phone arrived and had scratches on it. Information technology took Asurion 2 day to activate the telephone. I spent nigh 7 on the telephone with customer service.
